Disconnect and Reconnecting

Disconnecting/Reconnecting:

When you are done and want to disconnect, select 'Communications' from the Menu Bar and choose 'Disconnect'. This terminates the connection with your opponent.

You don't have to disconnect to play a new game with your opponent. Go to 'File' in the Menu Bar and select New Game (or click the New Game button). If you wish to change decks do so (it is polite to inform your opponent if you wish to do so) by loading a different deck. Click "Ok". Apprentice will display to both players that you are requesting a new game. Your opponent follows the same procedure to join that new game.

If you get disconnected from your game, you have the option to try to reconnect to your opponent. By pressing the Reconnect button (shown as a light bulb) and entering your opponents IP address, Apprentice will attempt to reconnect and resume the game. Your opponent must be waiting for a reconnect, and you need to make sure you have his correct IP address.

- The reconnect button. This button appears in place of the Ping Opponent button (shown as a watch) when you are disconnect from your opponent.
